077;

we were in beds in bedrooms across the hall from each other on an airplane. it was the bedroom of my childhood, my mother was in the other room. turbulence awoke me, i ran across the aisle to the other room and climbed into bed with my mother- blankets our seat belts. we held onto each other and she told me that everything would be fine, and it was. we landed safely.

i was in an airport alone. i boarded the same plane but sat in my mother's room. i was not asleep when the turbulence hit. i closed my eyes and held myself, crying. everything went white.
